URBAN SCULPTURE FOR INNOVATIVE COOKING

The main idea behind the project is to create an urban sculpture in the heart of Beirut, combining light and shadow, good vibes and a comfortable atmosphere.

The minimalist design gives the building a unique character and identity that makes the restaurant an eye-catching architectural attraction.
This new volume creates one entity that reconciles old and contemporary architecture, and merges tradition with innovation.
The folds in the volume create one entity that wraps the space in a white perforated envelope.

From these square patterned perforations, rays of light strikingly illuminate the space.
The tables layout is designed to compliment the building andtake advantage of the natural lighting thus highlighting the culinary masterpiece .
The tectonics in the volume act like a funnel that entices people to enter and enjoy the dining experience.
